Weekly

Below is a variety of things that I have found to either be inspiring or just to cool not to note. I will post my finds every week hence the title. I hope you enjoy these items as much as I do!

If you are obsessed with paper goods like I am you are going to fall in love with Nice Package's shop. Shop owners Ez and Marichelle have put together an assortment of paper goods and crafts that will make any crafter swoon. They also have DIY project kits and tips for those that need a little inspiration.

I found these adorable little buttons on feeling stitchy's blog (fun blog for you hand stitchers and sewers out there). The vintage style buttons are made by Karen Ruane and I believe the adorable little bird buttons are made by PomPom Rouge.

I just love Anthropologie's Wallpaper Clock! I've always wanted a grandfather clock but this is way cooler.

I found this artist while checking out the Free People blog, which I love and find incredibly inspiring (I think I've mentioned this before). I totally want to work there! But anyway, this artists name is Fiona Watson and these images are of her "unwritten book". I just love how she takes things from nature and pairs them together in such perfect harmony.

And finally, I took this picture today after I butchered my darling husbands 2009 calendar. I love vintage maps and just couldn't stand to see all of these images thrown away (this is also where my obsession with cool paper goods comes in). So I cut them out and will find something to do with them. I already have a few ideas!

So that is it! my first favorite finds post. I hope you like what you see, sorry it is so long, but trust me it could have been much longer.

The birdie buttons were, indeed, made by me! Thanks so much for showing them (and the sleuthing that it took to find me!).

I love the "unwritten book" images. Now I'm going to have to check out the Free People blog....
Also, I totally relate to you not wanting to throw away the calendar...all those beautiful bits of paper deserve a new life!

I like seeing pictures of things all laid out.
